Do you want even faster and more efficient self-monitoring? No more searching through the app for the right component! Our practical NFC tags are the perfect complement to our waterloo Control software solution. Simply scan the NFC tag on the system component and all relevant self-monitoring data is immediately retrieved. This makes your routine checks even more precise and time-saving!
Simply attach the self-adhesive NFC tag to your system component, e.g. a overhead reservoir. Then scan it on site with the waterloo full-service tablet or an NFC-enabled smartphone. You can then identify the system component quickly and clearly. You automatically receive all the relevant data, including the maintenance history and upcoming tasks. It doesn’t get any easier than this!

Carefully remove the protective film on the back and attach the self-adhesive waterloo NFC tag to your system component (e.g. hydrants, elevated tanks). Make sure that you can still easily reach the NFC tag with the tablet for scanning from a distance of 2-3 cm.
Start the waterloo Control app on your NFC-enabled tablet or smartphone to link the NFC tag to the system component for the first time. To do this, click on the NFC symbol in the desired system component and touch the NFC tag with the back of the tablet (top left).
At the next inspection, open your waterloo Control app and simply hold your device up to the NFC tag. The linked system section opens immediately – this gives you access to all the data and you can carry out the inspection as usual according to your digital checklist.
Each system is equipped with a waterloo NFC tag featuring a unique digital ID. During scanning, the equipment type is reliably identified, eliminating any confusion caused by similar names or illegible labels. waterloo Control immediately displays the correct system type and all associated specific information. Manual input errors are avoided as all data is transmitted digitally. These robust NFC tags can be reliably read even under challenging environmental conditions (dirt, moisture, low light), where optical systems often fail. This is crucial for precise maintenance and regulatory compliance.
A technician uses his waterloo tablet to scan the waterloo NFC tag on a piece of equipment (e.g. elevated tank). waterloo Control immediately opens the system data record and the corresponding digital checklist. Once the work is complete, the data is saved directly on site and synchronized with the waterloo cloud.
