Wondering how to get your meter data from the billing system into waterloo Meter? Quite simply via an interface – our digital bridge between the systems.
Our developers program customized interfaces to various billing systems. Your accounting department exports a file with all the relevant meter information: Manufacturer, flow rate, address, calibration year, last meter reading and much more. This data is then imported into waterloo and stored in a “period” – suitable for your task, whether meter reading or meter replacement. After the automatic upload, waterloo routinely checks the data records for accuracy. If all the data is correct, you can start directly with the meter replacement or meter reading. Maximum efficiency and error-free processes guaranteed!
After completing the meter exchange or reading, close the corresponding “period” in waterloo. You then create an export file, which is checked again for accuracy – for example, for unusual consumption or deviating flow rates. You then upload this file to your billing system. This can be done once at the end of the period or as often as required during the period. After the data transfer, you can carry out the billing of water consumption as usual. For the next period, we will again use the updated meter data from your leading system, including changes such as change of ownership or newly installed meters.
